Are you into Antiquing? Then the Havasu Antique Road Show is the perfect opportunity to buy, sell or browse unique items. There will be tables set up in the ASU gymnasium to accommodate antiques the public might wish to display or sell.
Doors will open at 4:30pm for sellers to set up their items, and appraisals will begin at 5pm. Tables and chairs will be provided; things to be displayed should be of a size to fit on top of a table. Sellers must obtain a temporary special event business license and pay a $10 fee to the city, in addition to paying a $10 vendor space fee. Vendors who would like to have items appraised as part of the program will pay an additional $5 for two things to be evaluated, by appraiser David Bolster. Bolster has spent 62 years collecting antiques and working with non-profit fundraisers in a similar format to the “Antiques Roadshow” on the Public Broadcasting System. Bolster has been offering appraisals at the Mohave County Senior Center in Lake Havasu City for many years, and is a member of two American appraisal organizations. He has also written several articles in regional and national antique trade magazines.
There will not be a reception for members at this event.
