Havasu’s Swim across the Lake

Holding 8.00am – 10:00 am on June 12, 2018

The venue is Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4, 171 London Bridge Rd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403

Admission is free to spectators.

A 3-mile swim across Lake event of Havasu Stingrays Swim Team, is holding soon in honor of Coach Mike Taylor. The event will start on the California side and terminate on the Arizona side marking the widest part of Lake Havasu River where the swim across event will take place.

Registration of participants costs $95 which covers T-shirt, cap, and breakfast. Deadline for registration is 1st of June 2018. A large chunk of the proceeds from the event will support the Coach Mike Taylor HSST Scholarship Fund. We encourage only capable swimmers to enroll for the event. Prizes will go to male and female top finishers. Each category is determined according to participation.

Safety of all swimmers are guaranteed as law enforcement vessels manned by volunteers on personal kayaks and watercraft will be on hand to see to emergencies.

The first set of swimmers will arrive at the lake’s Arizona side at Windsor Beach #4 about 1 hour into the race. While we welcome spectators’ boats, we ask they stay clear of safety boats’ coverage areas. They (spectators) are encouraged to line the shores!
