How to access the event venue: Main Gate/Parking/Boat Parking along the Channel
On the map, find the main entrance gate 1 (to the right of the pilot field) at 171 London Bridge Road, just across the swap meet parking lot that enters other Windsor 4 events like the Rockabilly, Bluegrass Festival, and Boat shows.
A separate gate exists for people coming by boat who park along the Bridgewater Channel who come through the beach. All boat parking is unreserved, and it’s free! If you bring your boat by vehicle, you are to come-in through gate 3, (see map) near carnival.
Except VIP parking (reserved parking), all event parking is free. Swap Meet holds on Sunday morning, as usual, there will be no traffic restriction. The following will designate available free parking near Windsor 4:
- Red Lot A – Pima Wash Parking Lot on Mesquite Avenue across from Fresenius Kidney Care at 2145 Mesquite Ave (see map at http://bit.ly/2CdlC7l .)
- Blue Lot B – Mohave Community College-Lake Havasu City campus at 1977 W. Acoma Blvd (see the map at http://bit.ly/2llsV2g.)
- Green Lot C – Lake Havasu High School at 2675 S. Palo Verde Blvd. (See map at http://bit.ly/2lbvGUI.),
- Yellow Lot D – Dirt lot on State Route 95 and W. Acoma Blvd (across from Lakeview Community Church, 1680 W. Acoma) (see map at http://bit.ly/2C3uUmZ .
Free Express Shuttles exist for free, running from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Except for Sunday during Swap Meet, parking around the event site along London Bridge Road and London Bridge Plaza will be free; however, you need to consider businesses in the area. Please note that vehicles left overnight will be towed; also note that parking is not allowed at the English Village or the Havasu Landing Casino.
For VIP parking, only those with VIP pass will be allowed to the newly-built launch ramp, south-end of the State Park. Except for Tour bus, no other vehicle is granted access on the street that runs behind Bridgewater Motel.
Boat Launching at Windsor/Lake Havasu State Park
There are standing Boat Parking Regulations to be enforced by Park ranger for launching and parking. Lake Havasu State Park, Lot 2 is the main launch ramp and parking area and will open for public boat launching/trailer parking.
Morning/Evening Ascension* Locations
The direction of the wind determines the ascension location, and it’s known only at the last hour of ascension. It should be noted that Balloon movement entirely depends on wind situation and for safety purposes; Balloon ascension in windy conditions is put on hold not minding the time of the day. Ensure you check for an update to get the latest information.
Run with Balloons 5K
The Balloon event starts at 6:30 am on Saturday, January 20 at Balloon Arch by the Main Stage in the Festival – https://havasuballoonfest.com/run-with-balloons/. The cost is $35 per person; families is $129 including the parents and 2 kids and a Team of 6 costing $180.

Balloon rides over Lake Havasu, Bridgewater Channel, and the London Bridge areas provide fantastic spectacular of views. You will, especially, enjoy the light touch of the water and the quick ascend when no boat or other motorized craft is around to cause harm. This spectacular show offers a rare photography opportunity to take a good shot over the area; so come with your camera if you want something more memorable! Other fantastic photo times is when the balloon is lift-up and take good shots when its ascend and rise into the sky

The purpose of the Havasu Balloon Festival & Fair Inc is to promote philanthropy, volunteerism and community friendship and it boats of over 2000 volunteers drawn from the surrounding communities.
