With Lake Havasu’s continuously stable largemouth bass inhabitants and rapidly increasing population of smallmouth bass, Lake Havasu City is starting to become a great location for WON BASS tournaments. For the 2^nd year in a row, Lake Havasu will be hosting the AZ Open for Pro and AAA fishermen. Launching into the water on Wednesday, February 5^th, these Pro fishermen will be casting for a chance to win a Grand prize of a Bass Cat Sabre FTD with Mercury 150 ProXS (valued at $42,500), plus $25,000 cash. AAA fishermen will be trying to reel in a grand prize of $6,000. This 3-day fishing event will have a Pro Entry fee of $1,000 and AAA entry fee of $400. The deadline for entry will be January 31^st, and official practice will go on from February 1^st to February 4^th at noon. Bass Cat test rides will be available on February 3^rd from 12-6pm at the Windsor 4 launch ramp.
