Lake Havasu City is about to witness another edition of one of the top 5 poker runs in the nation, as named by Performance Boaters Magazine. Standing as a world-class performance boating event, the Desert Storm Poker Run And Shootout 2019 promises to be the bomb! Performance boaters from all around the country will be participating during this event. Neither the boating industry norHavasu has seen anything like it before.

Event Schedule And Times

Starting on the 24th of April through to April 30th, the Desert Storm Poker Run And Shootout 2019 will be held at the London Bridge Resort in Lake Havasu City, AZ. What’s more, admission will be free for all spectators.

Thursday

The Desert Storm Poker Run And Shootout 2019 will commence with the Desert Storm Street Party, which will go down in the Downtown District of Lake Havasu. The party is going to bring about loads of excitement as local bars, restaurants and shops will be open and all your favorite vendors will be available on that day. Most of the extreme sport boats that would be racing during the event would be largely on display throughout the boulevard. The humongous size of the boats and the exciting activities during the party will definitely blow your mind.

Over 10,000 people were recorded to have been present during last year’s edition. 2019 is going to be even better, you definitely do not want to miss it.

Friday

On Friday by 11 am, the event would resume with the Desert Storm Parade Through the Channel. The drivers will be parading their high-performance boats from Thompson Bay through the Bridgewater Channel but if you want the best view, it will surely be along London Bridge Beach and the Bridgewater Channel.

Following the parade, the Desert Storm Poker Run will begin and will involve the boaters picking up cards at the different card stops on the Havasu Lake.

 

 

Saturday

On Saturday will be the Desert Storm Shootout, starting by 10 am. The boaters will start the course near the Site Six Launch Ramp and go down south. On the surrounding bluffs on the Island near Site Six and the Nautical Beachfront Resort are the best places for viewing.

Notice: all spectator events are free. Dates, times and other details of the events are subject to change. There will be heavy and fast boat traffic so spectator boaters are advised to be very careful during this period. Personal watercraft drivers should go through the Boating Safety section which provides PWC laws pertaining to water. PWC operators should stay clear of the path or boaters and do not jump wakes!
