2019 London Bridge Renaissance Fair & Joust
Gather around people! It’s that time of the year again! The London Bridge Renaissance Fair is back for the fourth year running and it’s going to be magical! In no other place than the SARA Park Rodeo Grounds, Lake Havasu City is where it’s going down, on the 15th to 17th of March, 2019.
The London Bridge Renaissance Fair and Joust is a festival aimed at resuscitating ancient history with costumed performers like magicians, puppeteers, jugglers, and musicians in the street and on stage. It is always nothing short of fun!
Renaissance guilds will also be among the entertainers lighting up Lake Havasu City during the fair. Arts and crafts and food and drink studded marketplace are one of the features of the fair. Another feature is the Pirate’s Cove Children’s Area.
Highlights Of The 2019 LBRF
On the 15th, although not for many people, there will be a piece of music and comedy spiced Queen’sFeast, between 5 and 7 pm. The best beverages and a five-course meal will be available for wining and dining.
Guess who will be present at the 2019 LBRF? The Knights of Mayhem!!! The world jousting champions as we all know them to be, they will be present to add flair to the fair.
On the 16th of March will be a St. Patrick’s Day Eve celebration with live music and guess what? No kids allowed! Between the hours of 6 and 10 pm is when it’ll be going down and all you need to be in attendance to pay a $5 dollar charge (if you won’t be attending the Fair) or an adult weekend pass for the Fair. It’s going to be an extra lively night at the tavern. One of the liveliest Havasu City will ever witness.
The 2019 LBRF Schedule
The Fair commences by 10 am every day from the 15th of March (Friday) to the 17th (Sunday). On Friday, it will close by 6 pm, it will last till 10 pm on Saturday but only for people of 18 years and above. The fair ends by 4 pm on Sunday, the 17th of March.
Ticketing
Adult (ages 13 upwards) Weekend Pass from Friday – Sunday for $15
Children (ages 5-12) Weekend pass from Friday – Sunday for $5
You can also purchase tickets online but do well to come with a printed copy of receipt or transaction held on a phone to show at the gate upon admittance. There will be no issuance of actual tickets.
Call for Volunteers
The 2019 LBRF needs people to volunteer to ensure that all the various aspects of organizing the fair are well taken care of, from planning, design, creation and behind the scene activities.
From the creation of sets and costumes to parking to ticketing to village characters interacting with guests to helping to get the word around, there are several ways you can volunteer and be an LBRF ambassador.
