Experience beauty at its peak

The 36th annual boat parade of lights is just around the corner, and the excitement is brewing from children and adults alike. One of the more exciting facts about Lake Havasu City’s annual boat parade of lights is that along the years it has repeatedly been selected among U.S top 100 events by the American Bus Association. This highly anticipated event takes place during the holiday season on November 30th and December 1st it offers a chance to create long-lasting memories with your loved ones. From the Thomas Bay through to the Bridgewater channel this event entails the experience of watching about 50 boats brightly decorated, the boats then continue under the London bridge to the north end of the channel to Windsor beach then back through the same paths. It’s a delight to all who watch and experience it which includes the young and old. The boat parade of lights has no age restrictions, and it’s open to all because of its unique beauty and special experience. It’s a family-friendly event and perfect to cozy up with family and friends while watching about 50 boats lit brightly and beautifully.

BOAT ENTRY

To actively participate in the event as a boat owner is quite easy as everyone CAN ATTEND and awards will be given at the end of the boat parade. Prizes include; Grand Marshal’s Award, Commodore’s Award, Best Family/Individual award, Best corporate Entry Award and much more, making it a priority for the event to be enjoyable both to the active participants and visitors who come to watch the beautiful show.

RULES

To make the experience more enjoyable and personal, visitors are permitted to bring bonfires throughout the channel on the island side beach areas to enjoy with their family and friends. However there are rules visitors who intend to bring their bonfires will be advised to follow; These bonfires must be contained in a portable, self-contained fire pit, and the ashes have to be taken out from the premises to keep the area clean. There will also be no throwing of ashes in the water and no bonfires will be allowed on the white sand beaches at the north end of the channel.
