Lake Havasu City’s 23rd Annual Festival of Lights
For the past 22 years, Lake Havasu has been known for the custom of ushering the Christmas season in with the festival of lights. This customary celebration usually involves the lighting up of the London Bridge and its surrounding bodies in the evening. This always creates a worthy spectacle and makes the water body around the bridge to show a lot of colorful reflections as a result of the multiple lights around it. Ordinarily, over 500,000 lights of different colors are usually deployed to light up the London Bridge in what has become a customary and historic celebration.
This year, the annual event returns for its 23rd edition in what promises to be a bigger and better festival for the various families that would be showing up. The event has always been a prelude to the Christmas holiday and families are always known to come along in groups to enjoy the spectacles offered by the multiple lights of various colors on the bridge and in the water body. People are known to always hang around on the terraces and the walkways of the London Bridge as they bask in the euphoria of the colored lightings and its effects. Families who love some adventures have been known to go on a boat cruise on the water body at night as they look for more ways to enjoy the atmosphere.
When is the Event this Year?
The event is scheduled to hold between November 23rd, 2018 and January 5th, 2019. Just like it has always been, the event would take place between 6pm to 10pm every day at the London Bridge, Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
