Duck Derby Race2018 is just around the corner and you should be preparing to join in on the fun with all your friends and family! The event which will be taking place on the 13th of October under the London Bridge begins from 11:00 in the morning until 02:00 noon.
The Duck Derby Race is an event organized by the Western Arizona Humane Society as a fundraiser to help the homeless ducks in Lake Havasu City. Asides having lots of fun, your presence at the Derby Race would be a great support to the WAHS cause. You can come with your loved ones knowing you’ll be contributing to a noble cause with your presence and donations. All your donations will be used by WAHS to provide better care for the little yellow fellows.
The Duck Derby Race will be taking place under the London Bridge so you will have no trouble locating it! If you would be attending with a public car or a private one, the event location is: Under the London Bridge, 422 English Village, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403. Admission fee is just $5 for a duck!
If you are only hearing about the Duck Derby Race andare wondering what it’s all about, it is a duck race – but not with actual ducks! For the Derby, all you have to do is purchase a plastic duck for just $5. Your duck will be given a number so your duck and twin duck can join other competitors for the duck race. You can come with your kids, your little nieces, and nephews, or even your students as they are sure to have a great time with the races. The ducks will be impelled with a rigid motor through the wake via the Bridgewater Channel. If you attend the event early enough, you can get the chance to attend the Duck Derby Ducktail Fundraising Dinner and Kickoff Party!
Amazing prices will be won at the race with a $1000 price for the winner, $250 for second place, $100 for third place and $50 for fourth place! Lots of duck print t-shirts, duck costumes, and other memorabilia will be available at the derby for sale. You can also get the chance to see ducks at the event and feed them!
