The Annual Boat Parade of Lights marks its 35th year and is the holiday season’ must-see event. The Parade of Lights event of Lake Havasu City’s Boat has consistently been among the top 100 must-see events in the U.S. by the American Bus Association. Well decorated, up to 50 brightly colored boats will delight children and adults alike during the well attended holiday events.
View the boats cruise from the Bridgewater Channel beginning in Thompson Bayand stretching to the north end of the Channel from under the London Bridge and turnaround at Windsor Beach and back.
It is a rare time to see the Channel packed full of boats and boaters in winter gear at night, so bundle up and take a stroll through the Channel. Come cozy up with family and friends and create treasured memories of a favorite holiday tradition!

The Boat Parade time starts each night at approximately 6:30 pm
BOAT ENTRY
Do you desire to enter your boat in the parade? You are all welcome, and get the prizes for Grand Marshal’s Award, Best Family/Individual Award, Commodore’s Award, Best Service Club/Organization Award, Best Corporate Entry Award, Best First-Time Entry Award, Best Sparkle Award, and Judge’s Choice Award. You are invited to the docks by boat parade sponsors and participants to be at the front of the London Bridge Resort to see parade floats lit up every night, from dusk.
The event will allow bonfires which will be contained in a portable, self-contained fire pit all through the Channel on the island side beach areas. All ashes must be removed entirely, and the area left clean. Fire pits digging in the sand and the dumping of ashes in the water will not be allowed. Throughout the evening, the event areas will be patrolled. BONFIRES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE NEW WHITE SAND BEACHES AT THE NORTH END OF CHANNEL.
There will be excellent sightseeing from the starting point of the Parade of Lights at the Nautical Beachfront Resor, Rotary Beach, throughout the Channel on all sides of the English Village around Windsor Beach and Rotary Beach, at any of the restaurants along the Channel and across the London Bridge.*
*We recommend an early reservation if you like to watch from the Channel restaurants.
There is no charge to view The 35th Annual Boat Parade. Lots of free parking is available in the parking areas on the island near the Channel and the English Village. The event area can become congested due to traffic; we suggest you get there early.
