Fireworks over the Lake: the July 4th Fireworks Show
Of course, there is nothing new to tell you about 4th of July, but we have the news on a whole new and amazing way to celebrate America’s Independence Day that is a few days away, and the clock is ticking!
And you can be part of the event for Free holding when the sun goes down on the evening of 4th of July over the Thompson Bay in this year’s most exciting Independence Fireworks Show ever!
Expected at this year’s event are Boaters, Beach-goers and Tailgaters; and YOU! To be a part of the show, you need to get a viewing spot to fully participate in America’s day of liberation, freedom, and independence. July 4th is a big day not only for the Americans but all freedom-loving people across the world.
The fireworks best viewing locations
While you may spend the day with your fellow boaters in Thompson Bay watching the fireworks comfortably in your boat, below are other best viewing spots for the fireworks to have fabulous Independence Day celebration.
- Rotary Park. (You can go to this location with coolers but no alcohol and pets allowed; lots of spaces for parking.)
- The Nautical Beachfront Resort. (This amazing island accommodates lots of free parking and coolers, but no pets, no alcohol permitted.)
- London Bridge Beach. (So much excitement awaits you here with free parking and coolers allowed.)
- Thompson Bay. (This is an early comer location. Have your boat anchored early to avoid winds and current messing with you and be early not to miss out as the Bay fills up quickly.)
The set-off location
Fireworks will start at Lookout Point on Spectator Point directly across The Nautical Beachfront Resort.
SIMULCAST: The Radio Action
Live simulcast music sets specifically to the fireworks show will be on the air, make sure to tune to KNTR 980-AM.
We love pets too, but no pets; here is why
Because we love you PETS, we urge you to leave them at home as fireworks can startle them and not so good for their sensitive ears.
Important caution for safety
While we will do everything possible to speed up things at the boat ramps for retrieval at the end of the fireworks events, a significant delay may happen. Thus, all WATERCRAFT NEED PROPER LIGHT AT NIGHT. You need to be cautious passing through the Bridgewater Channel at night.
Events Times May change
The event’s details may change for the good of the show; please get in touch with the event coordinator for the latest information.
