Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association & Little Delbert Days
Every year we organize the event to keep rodeos and other engaged throughout the day. The event is a grand success each year. This year too the event is slated to happen on Jan 28-29 from 10am to 4pm.
We encourage local mutton busters and calf riders to try their hands at horse riding. We also see a lot of cowboys and cowgirls joining from the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association.
In order to keep up the enthusiasm we also organize activities throughout the day like kids’ karaoke, balloon animals, hula-hoop contests, and the Cutest Cowgirl and Cowboy Contest (ages 2 to 12). All of this begins at 10am and will go on till 4pm. The rodeo is slated for 1-4pm.
The organizers, Friends of the Fair are a group that wishes to promote family and equestrian events. They also organize events like Little Delbert Days. Activities for Little Dilbert Days include gold panning, king of the hill, roping arena, back hoe challenge, bounce houses, ole fishing hole, cow jousting, shooting gallery, cup cake walk, peddle tractor races and much more.
Interested persons should make an early bird attempt at registration. Riding sheep and calves might bring back memories of the younger days and you wouldn’t want to give it a miss if you have the time for it. The organizers are accepting registrations from Friday, Jan 27. Signing up at the grounds is allowed. If there are seats still left organizers will allow those interested to register for the next available day – Saturday and Sunday.
In the Lake Havasu City, there are fun things one can do to keep themselves entertained. There are events such as the above to keep residents entertained throughout the year. Equestrian events such as these are held for those who have interest in horse riding.
If you have friends who would want to join, bring them over but be early. Expect a surprise visitor to drop in.
All this and more for those who decide to participate. For many these activities happen only once in year. They eagerly wait for the event when they can participate in their favorite sport in full vigor.
At other times of the year there are events organized by different stakeholders. Based on individual interests people can join events for fun and enjoyment. These events are an opportunity to spend a thrilling time engaging in fun with family and friends. To keep up the mood, organizers have hence added other activities to keep the kids occupied.
Bring the little ones and let them have fun. Rodeo is physically engaging and it also requires prior practice. Only those who have had the experience of riding horses should participate.
