18th Annual Desert Storm Poker Run and Shootout 2016

Tuesday

A meet and greet lunch located at the Pirate Cove Resort for drivers, boaters, and flyers coming to partake in the weekend.

Thursday

A ‘Desert Storm’ street party at Lake Havasu’s Downtown District, appealing to more than 10 000 visitors every year! Engaging and exciting performance boat displays and extreme boating events on offer.

Friday

A parade of power with more than 150 boats taking part in the event. A parade has been organized for boaters to show off their beauties and get the crowd ready for the action that will be coming! As they pass by, the announcer describes their boats and any to particularly keep an eye out for. As this is a parade, there will be many locations from which to access views.

The desert storm poker run is next in line, with the drivers having to pick up cards along their route.

A beach party begins from 10am onwards and will have a host of different demonstrations, food and drink stalls, vehicle and boat displays/shows, and much, much more to keep you entertained while the music pumps and the engines roar! Even better, the event is 100% free thanks to sponsors like Shugrue’s!

Saturday

Two mile race for performance boat drivers along California’s lake side. Shootout carried out on the surrounding cliffs and hills near the Island.

Remember that ALL of the weekend’s events are free but may be subject to change. Please check back closer to the date in order to verify schedule and events.
