Lake Havasu’s The 33rd Annual Boat Parade of Lights

For over 3 decades, The Boat Parade of Lights event in Lake Havasu City has continued to be one of the most sorts after event of the holiday season, which is been celebrated every year.
Among several events, The Lake Havasau City’s Boat Parade of Lights event has been repeatedly selected as one of the best 100 events featured in the U.S, By the American Bus Association.
This events in Lake Havasu City usually features 50 brightly decorated boats that usually cruise through the Bridgewater Channel looking its best, and the boats usually takes off from Thompson Bay and sails through the London Bridge to the north end of the Channel, and later makes a turn at Windsor Beach.
Full glimpse of the activity can be captured by taking a walk or stroll through the Channel at night. Because it’s the only time the audience can get to see the Channel full of boats and boaters, and attending with family members and friends, will create a treasured and last memory as they get to witness several creative entertaining programs lined up in the event menu’s.

The Sponsors and the participants of the Boat parade to be hosted in Lake Havasu City, are using this media to invite the public to visit the docks, situated in front of the London Bridge Resort, where parade floats will be in display every night beginning from 6:30pm and will run through the 4th and 5th of December, 2015.
Among other side attractions to witness, is a great viewing display that will be live at the Nautical Beachfront Resort, and Rotary Beach in Havasu. They will be setup at the starting point of the Parade of Lights and will extend throughout the Channel on both sides between Rotary Beach, Windsor Beach, the English Village, down across the London Bridge and at the restaurants along the Channel. For everyone that will be willing to watch the event, there will be no charge to view the 33rd annual Boat parade events for this year.
There will also be a “Bonfire”, which will be on display throughout the Channel on the island side beach areas contained in a portable self contain fire pit. However, owners of the bonfires are expected to evacuate the ashes safely without allowing any to fall off into the waters after the event, as this is to ensure a clean environment because there will be a patrol throughout the evening to ensure a strict compliance to this. This is not to discourage visitors, but to encourage a healthy environment.
There will be several free parking spaces at the English Village and in the parking areas on the island near the Channel for everyone that will be driving down either alone or with their family or friends.
To witness all the goodies that this event has lined up, it is advisable to get to the event early as traffic around the London Bridge can get congested.
