2013 July 4th in Lake Havasu City is well… on July 4th this year in Lake Havasu! 🙂 Each year in Lake Havasu City the firework show gets bigger and bigger and this year is no exception. Lake Havasu City, which is obviously famous for it’s lake – on July 4th has become the destination spot for boaters, beach goers and families a like! This year the boaters will be out all over the lake as the fireworks light up over Thompson Bay!

July 4th, also known as Independence Day is a federal holiday here in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain! It is now celebrated with the gathering of friends, families and loved ones and is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, BBQs, parties, family reunions and the list goes on!

So this year whether you come down to Thompson Bay in Lake Havasu City for July 4th to watch the fireworks or you are in your backyard with your loved ones BBQ’n some hot dogs! Just remember what Independence Day is truly about! 🙂
