30th Annual WON Striper Derby in Lake Havasu City guarantees to be a phenomenal time for ALL! Whether you are a beginner angler or have been fishing your whole life, this event is sure to please! Western Outdoor News and the city of Lake Havasu City are proud to be hosting the 30th anniversary of the Lake Havasu City Striper Derby this year. If last years HUGE success and attendance is any indication of the popularity of the annual tournament in terms of both angling appeal and prize packages, this year’s event slated for Saturday and Sunday, May 18th and 19th, stands to be BIGGER then ever!

The $20 per team could easily add up to Big Money and pay the top 5 weights overall a cash payback in addition to their product prizes. If we can get 250 teams that’s $5,000.00 to be divided up among the top 5 teams ( $2, 000, $1,500, $750, $500  and $250 based on 250 teams).

As always, they will have prizes and trophies for the top 10 teams in “Open” division, and top 5 in each of the other 3 categories… “Husband / Wife”,  “Adult / Son and or “Adult / Daughter” categories.

Sign up available on-site Friday, May 17th at the Nautical Inn Convention Center from 4 pm – 6:30 pm with Captain’s meeting at 7 pm.
