Lake Havasu City Chili Society Homestyle Chili Cook-Off & Open Salsa Contest is coming up and their goal? To raise funds for the Lake Havasu City High School booster club! The Lake Havasu High School Athletic Booster Club is getting together with the Lake Havasu Marine Association for an amazing time and for a phenomenal cause! Chili and salsa chefs will be competing in the inaugural ICS-sanctioned Home-Style Chili Cook-Off and Open Salsa Challenge during the 22nd Annual Havasu Boat Show. This is a no holds bar chili cook-off where ANYTHING goes! Beans, no beans, meat, no meat, hot, mild, chicken, pork, beef, ANYTHING!
The Lake Havasu City Chili Society Homestyle Chili Cook-Off is OPEN to EVERYONE! The winner of the chili cook-off will be eligible to participate in the ICS World Finals in Palm Springs. Contestants: Be sure to select HOMESTYLE category on the ICS website. DO NOT select Salsa if competing in that category.
