Relics and Rods 35th annual “Run to the Sun” begins here is beautiful Lake Havasu City on October 17th through the 21st. Relics & Rods Car Club’s 35th Annual Run to the Sun Car Show is one the largest car shows in the Southwest. This year the Run to the Sun will be held at the Nautical Beachfront Resort. This very exciting car show features over 800 vehicle entrants, with all cars and trucks being 1972 and older. Admission for the Friday and Saturday Show and Shine is $7 for one day or a 2-day wristband for $10. All other days are FREE admission!
Bring your friends and family out and enjoy this amazing event! Check out the rows of beautiful cars, talk with the collectors and mingle with others. Grab yourself a hot dog, brat or burger and head over to the beer garden where there will be all your favorite beers accompanied by some live music!
The “Run to the Sun” schedule is as follows –
Wednesday – Oct. 17th
- Registration opens at 9:00 AM
- Evening – Catered Kick-off Party for Early Arriivals
Thursday – Oct. 18th
- Morning – Reserve Parking Selection on the Golf Course
- Morning – Poker Run
- All Day – Vendor, Car Corral and Swap Meet Set-up
- Afternoon – Pre-cruise Party at Premier Street Rods
- Evening – Huge Cruise to The Shops at lake Havasu
Friday – Oct. 19th
- Morning / Afternoon- Show <& Shine on the Golf Course
- Evening – Banquet at the Convention Center
- Night – Sock Hop after the Banquet
Saturday – Oct. 20th
- Morning – Fashion Show for the ladies
- Morning/Afternoon – Show &. Shine on the Golf Course
- Afternoon – Awards with our unique Kachina Trophies
Sunday – Oct. 21st
- Morning – Parade with a Pancake Breakfast at the end
